our session style

You know your kids: they have a genuine smile and then an entirely different “photo face.” So we’ll have a photoshoot that’s active and playful. First, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other. Then, we’ll spend the next 1 to 3 hours walking, playing, and getting spontaneous and silly reactions from the kids. We’ll burn some serious calories and have some seriously big laughs. Even if your kids are stoic little folks, we’ll get all sides of their personality. Run, play, cry, smooch—we will capture all of it. .

when a kid just isn’t having it

We won’t reveal all of them, but we have a whole repertoire of tricks. Thing is, we genuinely love kids. Lucky for us, they love us, too. If your kid is having an emotional day, we’ll make sure that one of those emotions is joy.

Planning

We know how busy you are, so we’ll ask you a few questions and take it from there. We pick photogenic locations that aren’t crowded and have easy parking. We do suggest choosing a session time where the kids have had naps and had snacks. (But don’t worry. If your kids are sleepy, grouchy, or hungry, we can still make them smile.)

After your Session

After our session, I'll spend about three weeks editing your photos so they’re simple, beautiful, and clean. I remove distractions, blemishes, stray hairs, and the things we all wish we could Photoshop in real life. After three weeks, we'll send you your own online gallery where you can download and share all of your photos. If we live in the same city, we'll schedule a time to meet and share our design ideas!
