Charlie is one energetic and animated pup!  We tried and tried to get him to sit, but turns out treats are the trick.

A good tip for photographing your pup?  Take them for a walk or to the dog park!  They’ll be happier and more willing be cute in front of the camera.

Baylor

For a really really long time, Monica had wanted a puppy and I wasn’t too sure we could handle the amount of energy it would require. But then I thought, “Oreo needs a buddy.” So here she is, Baylor the pup. We decided to name her Baylor since that’s where we both graduated from and it just sounds cool. She’s growing up so fast, it’s crazy! The first four photos were taken 2.28.12 and the last two 3.28.12. We’ll see how much she’s grown on 4.28.12. But don’t let her looks fool you. She’s not as innocent as she appears. Just ask my couch or books!

Easter Mini Sessions

March is my FAVORITE month of the year.  Why?? The weather is so lovely – kite flying weather, I’d like to call it - and it means that my birthday’s right around the corner. So, in honor of my birthday, I’m offering this amazing deal!

There won’t be any live animals because that can be dangerous.  If you’d like your photos to be Easter inspired, we can have a mini egg hunt to get the kids in action.  If you’re looking for something a little more “year round,” we can definitely do that, too!  The session won’t be a “regular portrait session.” Instead, we’ll have 30 minute time slots with a max of 10 images to chose from.  You can book a session by sending me smoke signals, giving me a call, sending me a note here, or emailing me at Tanya@tanyavelazquez.com.  We’d love to hear from you!
